Largest Oil Transit Base Built in Aoshan Island

After 10 years of hard work, the Xingzhong Oil Staging (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd. has completed China's largest oil transit base in the desolate land on the southern coach of Aoshan Island in Dinghai, Zhejiang Province. The base has several oil tanks with a total capacity of 1.2 million cubic meters, three oil docks with respective tonnage of 250,000, 100,000 and 10,000 tons. The annual handling capacity exceeds 20 million tons. So far, it has received 2,842 oil tankers from inside and outside China, 10 of which are of the 300,000-ton class.

In the last decade, the "Xingzhong" people, displaying the spirit of starting an enterprise through hard work, have completed in succession five key engineering projects in Zhejiang Province, which involve a total investment of more than US$ 100 million.

The company has constantly expanded its business scale and achieved good economic and social effects. It has so far collected more than 2.3 billion yuan of customs duty for the country, turned over port dues of more than 100 million yuan, commodity inspection fees of more than 35 million yuan and taxes of 12.8 million yuan to the State. It has also saved up US$ 40 million of demurrage charges on the transit of oil products for the country.
