Recreation facilities across China will be carefully examined and checked before "Children's Day" on June 1.
The decision was made recently by nine departments, including the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Tourism Administration. Similar check-up were done the same time last year.
Safety of the recreation facilities has once again caught the attention of the public, especially after two high school students in Tianjin were badly injured when they took part in "bungee" jumping on April 16.
