Chinese Students to Join International Science CompetitionNineteen Chinese students from across the country will go to Detroit of the United States to join the world's largest high school science competition in May.This will be the first time Chinese students will join the International Science and Engineering Fair(ISEF), sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology and the Intel. The ISEF, to be held from May 7 to 12, is the world's largest high school science competition and the only International Science Fair representing life sciences from students aged 15-18 years. More than 1,200 middle and high-school students from 42 countries and regions will take part in the Fair. "Intel is deeply committed to improving education worldwide and China is a crucial part of these efforts," said Jim Jarrett, Intel China President. Intel has supported several educational projects in China and so far has donated more than 2.5 million US dollars-worth of funds and equipment to Chinese colleges. |
