China's Consumption Market Promising Four Growth Points

Education, information, holiday and service are reported to be four growth points in China's consumption market this year.

According to surveys conducted by China Economic Monitoring Center, people's expenses on education, up 20% since this year began, have experienced the fastest growth in China's consumption market.

The Ministry of Information Industry lately reports there are as many as 90 thousand netizens in China and that China's information industry will grow to a value of some 1000 billion yuan this year.

Holiday consumption will be the bellwether representing China's yearly consumption in 2000, according to a view of experts.

Meanwhile, China's Domestic Trade Administration holds that new sharp rises will be seen in people's consumption on service and the ratio of worth value to be created by service and commodity trading will be at 1: 2 from present 1: 4 by 2010.
