The annual Beijing Spring Book Fair opened Wednesday at the Beijing Working People's Palace of Culture.
The two-week event will provide readers with a wide range of affordable books from more than 300 publishing houses. Publishes include the Encyclopedia of China Publishing House, People's Literature Publishing House, Zhong Hua Book Company, and China Bookstore.
Those who do not want to fight way through crowds can browse the website: www.sohu.com, www.eguo.com which provides a comprehensive introduction to most of the books at the Fair. The sponsors of the event will continue to donate books and computers for people in impoverished areas in China.
