U.N. Officials Inspect Poverty Relief Work in Guangxi

A United Nations delegation Tuesday started their four-day tour to inspect poverty relief work in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Two officials from the Department of International Economic and Social Affairs under the UN Secretariat will evaluate the local social, economic and environmental conditions, inspect projects on ecological construction, green vegetable growing, traditional herb production so as to decide the amount of money allocated by Human Security Fund to Guangxi.
