Tibetan Official Meets Romanian Delegation

Legqog, chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region, met April 23 with a delegation of the Party of Social Democracy of Romania, headed by Adrian Nastase, first vice- president of the party and also vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania.

Legqog briefed the guests on social and economic development in Tibet, saying that Tibet will develop as rapidly as other areas of the country as China pursues the policy of developing its western region.

Nastase praised the great changes that have taken place in Tibet.
