The first Yellow River International Tourism Festival will be held in Yinchuan, capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, from July 8-12.
Festival-goers will have opportunities to see the tomb of the king of the Xixia Kingdom (1038-1227), the rock paintings on the Helan Mountain, the Xumi Mountain Grottos, Muslim religious buildings in downtown Yinchuan, scenic spots on the Liupan Mountain, along with other spots in this Muslim region.
An exhibition of tourism products and a trade fair of economic, technological and trade cooperation will be held simultaneously.
The festival is co-sponsored by the China National Tourism Administration and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Government.
