First WAP Mobile Internet Service Opened in China

Sohu.com and Nokia opened business April 21.While Nokia provided the WAP platform, sohu.com develop the content for the new technology.

From now on, Chinese mobile phone users can access content from the sohu.com WAP website, including free e-mail services, news, real time stock quotes and other financial information.

Entertainment, traffic, travel, sports and market information will also be provided.

At present, sohu.com and Nokia lead the way in developing mobile Internet services in China. The two companies formed an alliance on March 1 this year to develop the application of innovative wireless Internet services in China.
