China's enterprise domain names registration index reports released by China's Domain Names Service (ChinaDNS) reveal the country's registration number of international domain names (com) to a total of 182,800, a figure far exceeding domain names domestically registered (.com.cn).
Statistics show that China's enterprises have a preference for .com to com.cn. Beijing, Guangdong and Shanghai, with a respective 22.04%, 18.82% and 11.84% .com registration number, have been in a place among the top three in region distribution in China. There are also the country's computer industry, electronic information and commercial enterprises reportedly with a respective 19.09%, 7.71% and 7.58% .com registration number to be listed in the first three places in China.
