More than 100 overseas and domestic information technology enterprises showed off their new products at a large exposition in the capital city of east China's Shandong Province.
The 2000 China (Jinan) International Information Technology Exposition is the country's largest-ever computer, telecommunications and Internet technology fair in Shandong, local sources said.
World-renowned corporations such as Ericsson, IBM, CISCO, ADOBE and NORTEL participated, exhibiting their newly-developed Internet technology, E-commerce systems, and high-speed computers. A total of 15 symposiums and lectures will be held to discuss the latest information technology.
And a special website, WWW.ITexpo.com.cn, has been opened for the fair, which will close April 23.
