Overseas Chinese Elites Invited to "Hi-tech Week" in China
At the invitation of the 3rd Beijing International Hi-tech Week Organization Committee, more than 40 overseas Chinese residing abroad will attend hi-tech exchange activities held in Beijing.
The 40 overseas Chinese to be invited are residing mainly in the US, UK, Canada, Germany and some other countries. Most of them have got a doctor's or postdoctor's degree. Holding an important position in hi-tech companies in resident countries, they have achieved outstanding attainments in their respective fields of biomedicine engineering, biophysics, electric communication network technology, E-commerce technology, environment science technology and engineering.
To make most of intellectual resources from the country's overseas Chinese special talks will be held by the Hi-tech Organization Committee at Zhongguancun for an exchange of views with those of overseas Chinese elites and meanwhile answers will be provided to problems raised.
