Exhibition of Chinese Painting, Calligraphy Held in Macao
A three-day exhibition featuring 100 paintings and calligraphy works of Chinese artists was opened at the Macao Tourism Activity Center Wednesday.
While the paintings depicted landscapes, animals, flowers and human figures, the calligraphy works are mainly copies of ancient poems and words celebrating Macao's return to the motherland.
In addition, an album collecting these artistic works has been published and is available together with the exhibition, which has been held in Beijing and some other cities in the inland areas of China.
Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the exhibition.
