China Issues Treasury Bonds

China issued 28 billion yuan ($3.37 billion) worth of treasury bonds on Monday.

This is the second batch of registered treasury bonds that China issued this year. The T-bonds have floating interest rates and a maturity term of ten years.

Thirty Chinese financial institutions have underwritten the issuance of these T-bonds, including the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Construction Bank of China.

China issued 20 billion yuan ($2.41 billion) worth of registered treasury bonds in February with a maturity term of seven years.
