ROK Foreign and Trade Minister to Visit Beijing: FM
Foreign and Trade Minister of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Lee Joung Binn will visit China later this month for discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan on issues concerning Sino-ROK relations and other matters of common concern, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Sun Yuxi said.
Sun said at a regular press conference that at the invitation of Tang Jiaxuan, the ROK minister will visit China from April 27- 29.
"The ROK minister's visit to China reciprocates Minister Tang's visit to ROK last December," Sun said. "The two ministers are expected to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula, Sino- ROK friendship, and other international and regional issues of mutual concern."
