Recently a Taiwanese fishing boat safely escaped danger with the help of frontier policemen of Longhai City, Fujian Province.
On April 13, the "Shunfuman" fishing boat of Taiwan had trouble while operating on the outer sea. Unfortunately she lost power and drifted on the ocean after her main engine broke down. She faced the danger of sinking or running on rocks at any moment.
Having learned about this, the Haimen Frontier Police Station of Longhai City immediately sent out policemen to carry out emergency rescue action. Because of the heavy fog and the rolling waves, it was very difficult for the policemen to salvage the boat. With tremendous efforts, they finally saved the five fishermen on the boat. And with the help of another fishing boat of the mainland, the Taiwanese boat was eventually towed to the port of Haimen.
