The spokesman stressed that it is well-known that Lee Teng-hui is the general incarnation of "Taiwan independence," and his visit to Japan in whatever form or capacity is opposed by the Chinese side. "We hope that the Japanese government will strictly honor its commitment on the Taiwan issue, and attach great importance to and properly handle the issue," Sun said. |
