RCCK Spokesman Condemns Annette Lu's Independence Remarks

A spokesman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) on April 14 strongly condemned the recent "Taiwan independence" remarks by Annette Lu, a member of the Democratic Progressive Party of Taiwan.

The spokesman warned "Taiwan independence" advocates such as Lu not to make absurd separatist and anti-reunification remarks which have aroused enormous indignation among the Chinese people and patriotic overseas Chinese around the globe.

RCCK organizations and its members all over the country have in the last couple of days held gatherings to condemn and criticize Lu's absurd "Taiwan independence" remarks, according to the spokesman.

Lu has revealed her true colors before she takes office. This tells us that she is a "very dangerous and crazy politician", the spokesman said.

The spokesman urged the Taiwan authorities to abandon their unrealistic hopes for independence, support the one-China Principle and start high-level political negotiations across the Taiwan Straits.
