Ishihara's Anti-China Ravings Castigated by Overseas Chinese in JapanTokyo Overseas Chinese Federation lately held a standing council to lodge a strong protest against Tokyo Gov. Shintaro Ishihara for a series of his anti-China deeds and ravings lately made. The councilors expressed their furies at Ishihara's speech to Ground Self-defense Force on April 9. Chairman of Tokyo Overseas Chinese Federation Yin Qiuxiong pointed out that Ishihara's speech does not correctly reflect on history problems between China and Japan and thus fully reveals his anti-China nature. The councilors said that as governor of Tokyo Ishihara's anti-China ravings, full of bias and discriminations, totally intolerable, run counter to the advance of the time. A resolution passed by the council also clearly states that his wild remarks that foreigners in Japan should be regarded as criminals are extremely ridiculous. The councilors are shocked by Ishihara's denial of Japan's aggression launched in China and Southeast Asian countries, especially denying his ilk's holocaust Nanjing Massacre. All in all, Ishihara has not only preached the notorious "Taiwan independence" fallacy he has also by tying himself up with Lee Teng-hui as two birds of the same feather even plotted for Lee's visit to Japan and further wants to hold talks with Dalai Lama. Ishihara has by his anti-China deeds and wild words shows his knowledge about Sino-Japan history problems is world apart from those of a normal man in his right senses, therefore, the councilors express their resolute protest against this Tokyo governor.
