FM Spokesman: Lee Teng-hui's Activities have Political Intentions
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Sun Yuxi April 13 pointed out that Lee Teng-hui's activities abroad, in whatever ways, names and capacities, have obvious political intentions.
"So we hope that countries concerned, including Japan, will stick to the one-China policy, honor their promises, and handle such issues properly," Sun said at a regular press conference when asked to comment on Lee's possible trip to Japan.
For a long time and with all means, Lee has involved himself in a series of splittist activities in an attempt to create one China and one Taiwan, he said, adding that Lee has spared no effort in destroying China's friendly relations with other countries, a fact known to the international community.
