The Sino-US joint venture, Shanghai Lucent Sci-tech Telecommunication Equipment Co., Ltd, plans to invest US$ 45 million in the expansion of its factory building.
The production value of Shanghai Lucent is expected to reach US$240 million, up 60% as compared with that of last year. The newly-built 32 thousand square meter factory building will increase the production line from one to six. The construction is scheduled to start in May and the building will be put into use in July next year.
Vice president of Shanghai Lucent said that after the building is put into use, Shanghai will be one of the three key production bases of Lucent Sci-tech Light Network Group.
