Chinese Taipei defeated Pakistan 3-2 after Sunday's two reverse singles matches in their Davis Cup Asia/Oceania zone group two, second round tie in Taichung of Taiwan Province.

Results are as follows (Chinese names first):

Lin Bing-chao bt Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-3

Tsai Chia-yen bt Asim Shafik, 6-0, 6-3, 6-3

Saturday's doubles
