Asian Free-style Wrestling Championships to Open in Guilin

he Southern Chinese city of Guilin is to host the 14th Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championships from April 26-28, organizers announced on Friday.

The championships also serve as Asia's last Olympic qualifying meet for the Sydney Games.

It is expected that 16 to 18 member associations of the Asian Wrestling Federation will field some 200 athletes for the three- day event.

Set on the program for the event are eight categories -- 54kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 76kg, 85kg, 97kg and 130kg, according to the organizers.
