Macao Airport Registers 20 % Increase in Passenger Transport Volume
It is reported that the number of the passengers transported by Macao International Airport surged by 20 percent between this January and March over the same period last year.
According to the statistics released by Macao International Airport Company, Macao International Airport handled the transport of 674938 passengers/time between January and March, up 21 percent over the same period last year. The volume of goods transported reached 12882 tons, down 9 percent from that of last year. There were a total of 6,764 take-off and landings in the same period, representing a 22 percent increase.

Macao International Airport has received nearly 8.83 million passengers and arranged 88,526 flights for the transport of 201,884 tons of goods since it began commercial operation in November 1995.
