Sophomores Becoming Teacher Aides, Student Counselors

Four sophomores have taken up teaching aide and student counselor positions at the Hangzhou Business College from the beginning of the spring semester. If they perform well, they will be put in charge of a freshmen class, says an official from the college.

The Hangzhou Business College is giving opportunities to students to improve their managerial abilities, according to "Guangming Daily".

Over 20 students responded to an ads in a newspaper for the position of teacher aide and student counselor at the college.

The four sophomores will make a comprehensive assessment of students according to their performance.

Liu Zhilin, the director of the students affairs office at the college, said that the school will evaluate and check on the performances of the four sophomores each semester. And if they do not meet requirements, they will be dismissed.
