President Jiang Zemin has inscribed the title and written instructions for a book on financial knowledge that has been specially published for leading officials.
The publishing of the book, entitled "A Reader on Financial Knowledge for Leading Officials," was sponsored by the Ministry of Finance.
In his instruction, Jiang urges leading officials of all levels, especially high ranking ones, to study financial knowledge consistently and pay great attention to financial policies and laws.
He called for further deepening of financial reforms, improvement of financial functions, strengthening financial management, and making joint efforts to build a financial system compliant to requirements of a socialist market economy and stable, balanced, and powerful state finance.
