The Honeywell Company of the United States held a ground-breaking ceremony on April 5 to launch its 19th project in China.
The Honeywell Specialty Chemicals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd is located in this major city in east China's Jiangsu Province, and will produce high-grade wax, additives and other chemical products for the Asian-Pacific market.
The construction of the new plant, which involves an investment of US$ 16 million, will be completed by the end of this year.
Founded in 1885, Honeywell is a leading multinational engaged in various fields. Its products entered China 65 years ago. The company merged with American Allied Signal last December.
