Indonesian President to Visit Ailing Obuchi

Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid has expressed his intention to visit former Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi, who has been in a coma after a stroke last Sunday.

"I intend to visit Obuchi on my return from Havana (Cuba)," the president said during the inauguration of Djoko Moelyono as presidential secretary here Wednesday.

Wahid is due to leave on April 9 for another string of foreign visits which will take him to the United States, Mexico and Cuba.
