Jiang, Zhu Send Obuchi Get-well Notes

President Jiang Zemin and Premier Zhu Rongji Monday issued separate messages to Obuchi with good wishes and hopes for a quick recovery.

"We are very concerned about the hospitalization of Premier Obuchi," a foreign ministry spokesman said.

"President Jiang Zemin and Premier Zhu Rongji have sent out messages of condolences and hope that Prime Minister Obuchi recovers as soon as possible," he said.
