HKSAR Foreign Currency Assets Total HK$ 985 Billion
Sources from the Financial Administration of Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR) say HK's foreign currency assets totaled HK$985 billion by the end of February 29.
Statistics show that HK's total foreign currency assets last month were HK$ 5.2 billion less than January, including HK$17.6 billion of foreign currency assets. Meanwhile there has been achieved a growth of HK$ 12.4 billion in the amount of HK dollar assets.
Analysts say the bull HK stock market has contributed to a rise in the amount of HK dollar assets.
