China to Build Int'l Air-Cargo Distribution Center

China plans to build its first international air-cargo distribution center in the northern municipality of Tianjin, sources said.

Affiliated with the Tianjin Port Bonded Zone, the cargo distribution center will take advantage of the zone's special functions to make import and export trade more convenient. The plan was jointly worked out by the Tianjin Port Bonded Zone, the Administration of Civil Aviation, and Tianjin Customs. The center will occupy an area of 0.95 square kilometers.
