Hong Kong Post will launch on Saturday a new PayThruPost service to collect payment of electricity bills. The Assistant Postmaster General Joanna Choi said: "In collaboration with CLP Power Hong Kong Limited and Hong Kong Electric Co., Ltd., we are pleased to offer our customers the hassle-free and convenient PayThruPost service."
As from April 1, the public can pay their electricity bills at any of the region's 45 designated post offices by either cash or check, and the service will be extended to all post offices, except mobile post offices, in early July, Choi said.
The introduction of the new service is part of the Hong Kong Post's ongoing effort to provide value added services to meet customers' needs and to better serve the community, added Choi.
