Vietnamese Armed Ship Shot Chinese Fishermen

Sources from the Ministry of Agriculture say Vietnam's armed ship shelled China's fishing boats on March 30 on South China Sea, killing one and taking 12 others as hostages.

Witnesses claim that the armed men on Vietnam's ship raked at China's fishermen with submachine guns.

At present, information about the kidnapped 12 Chinese fishermen and the fishing ship held by Vietnam is not available.

The sources also say that a Vietnamese transportation boat illegally kidnapped three cockboats with 5 fishermen on board who were catching fish near the area of North Latitude 9¡ã51¡ä and East Longitude 114¡ã13¡äon South China Sea at Beijing Time 11:30 on March 31.
