On May 1, a Guinness record-breaking open competition of high-altitude string-walkers is to be held at Zhenzhuquan (Pearl Spring) of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.

By then, Feng Jiushan, the king of high-altitude walker who succeeded in crossing the Hukou Waterfall over the Yellow River, and other world feat makers will gather in Nanjing to join the open competition. With a height of 800 meters they are going to challenge the Guinness world record of 769 meters scored by the former string-walker. The inhabitants will have a chance to enjoy the high-altitude feat of rope-dancer, aerial stunt show of motor, bicycle, unicycle feats on the string, as well as high-altitude disco, figure string-walking, rope-skipping and other adventurous and spectacular performances. It is reported that shuttle buses are available for the tourists from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between the Gulou Park and Zhenzhuquan during the competition days.
