The Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Autonomic Territories Yassir Arafat will end his visit to Germany on Wednesday.

His visit to Germany is very successful. During his stay in Berlin he has met with many German politicians. German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder had assured Arafat during their meeting that German Government would firmly back the aim of Palestinians to found their own state in their territories. The Palestinian state is expected to be proclaimed this autumn.

Schroeder stressed that the declaration of the EU summit which was held just one year before in Berlin is still effective that the EU. backed firmly the founding of own state of the Palestinians and thought that the Palestinians had right to establish their own state in their region.
