China is willing to play its role in improving relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the international community, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi March 28.
Sun made the remarks at a regular press conference in Beijing when answering a question on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the DPRK and Italy.
Sun said that China holds that the international community should improve ties with the DPRK.
He said that China, if possible, will play its role in promoting exchanges between the DPRK and the international community.
