China Introduces International Marine Invoices

Domestic and overseas marine firms and shipping agencies will start to use the international marine invoice from April, 1, 2000.

According to China's tax and communications authorities, there are two invoices: one for shipping enterprises and the other for shipping agencies.

These new invoices will be filled in on a computer. Other invoices will be invalid. Current marine invoices, however, will continue to be effective until October 31, 2000.
