PLA Chief of General Staff Leaves for Three-Nation Trip
Fu Quanyou, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), left Beijng on March 25 for an official good-will visit to Germany, Japan and Nepal. Fu is also a member of the Central Military Commission.
Those accompanying Fu include Shen Binyi, deputy commander of Chinese Navy, Guo Yuxiang, deputy commander and air force commander of PLA Jinan Military Area Command, Huang Cisheng, deputy commander of the Second Artillery Force of Chinese PLA, and Zhan Maohai, deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of Ministry of National Defense.
Xiong Guangkai, PLA deputy chief of the general staff, and the diplomatic envoys of the above three countries saw them off at the airport.
