Beijing Capital Airport Adjusts Flights

Beijing's Capital International Airport has adjusted its schedule, as its west runway has been closed for renovation since March 5.

According to an airport official, some domestic flights leaving between 8:00 am and 18:00 during March 5-April 29, will be reduced, as well as two international flights from Beijing to Karachi and from Beijing to Singapore, respectively.

The official said that during April 30-June 10, the west runway will be reopened in the daytime but closed after 18:00 every day. Within this period, the canceled flights will be resumed gradually.

The rebuilding project is expected to be completed by the end of July, he added.
