Chinese Young People Rally for Unification

Dozens of young Chinese people from across the country gathered in Beijing on March 25 to express their desire for the early reunification of the motherland.

They brought a petition with millions of signatures from around the country calling for the return of Taiwan Province.

The action was part of the "Taiwan in My Mind" program, which is aimed at raising awareness among young people about the island province.

Drawing and speech contests have also been held, and young people from the Xinjiang Uygur and Tibet autonomous regions, and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions have signed the petition to express their wish for the country's reunification.
