FM Spokesman On Nansha Islands

Positive progress has been made in the bilateral consultations on the difference on Nansha Islands between China and relevant ASEAN countries in recent years.

The bilateral consultations and coordination mechanism between the two sides in this regard has been operating effectively, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi at a regular press conference here this afternoon.

"We believe that the relations between China and ASEAN countries will be furthered," he added.
