Chinese President Meets Holbrooke on Bilateral Relations

Chinese President Meets Holbrooke on Bilateral Relations
Chinese President Jiang Zemin and Representative of the United States to the United Nations (UN) Richard C. Holbrooke discussed on March 21 afternoon the development of Sino-US relations and cooperation between the two countries in UN affairs.

The ongoing meeting, held at Zhongnanhai, site of the central government, will likely last about one hour.

Prior to the meeting, Chinese vice Premier Qian Qichen and Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan met with Holbrooke respectively.

Holbrooke, who is here for a four-day visit, has toured Shanghai earlier this week.
