Numbers of Top Australian Athletes Take Dope

Following the Australia Sport Drug Agency's disclosing that 376 Australian athletes have taken dope in the past 10 years, another storm of taking illegal drugs by Australian athletes hit the sports world once again. Some Australian figures in the sports circle point out in TV programs that up to 80 percent of the top Australian athletes are taking dope.

Australian analytic chemist Erison estimates that the athletes taking dope, who have joined the national and international games, approach to 80 percent. Suggestions have been made to about 20 athletes who will take part in the Sydney Olympic Games on "safety-drug-taking, which may go through drug tests," he admits.
