Overseas Experts Invited to Help Standardize China's Securities Market

Overseas securities experts including those from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, are welcome to help China standardize its securities market, said Premier Zhu Rongji Wednesday.

Zhu made the remark at a press conference shortly after the conclusion of the 3rd Session of the

9th National People's Congress (NPC).

He said that China's securities market is very important, especially to reform of state-owned

enterprises.

China's securities market has developed very rapidly and made great progress, but it is yet to be

standardized, he said.

There is a lot of work to be done for the securities market to win Chinese investors' trust, he said.
