UNDP Supports Environmental Program in Ningxia RegionThe United Nations Development Program and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region are to cooperate in a water saving agricultural project in the region. The two sides signed an agreement to this effect in Beijing Sunday. The project will help improve management of the Yellow River water resources and facilitate agricultural development in the region through the introduction of environmentally friendly, water saving farming systems.
