Beijing Plaza Invites International Bidding

Beijing's Tianyuan Plaza is now accepting international bids for design blueprints. The plaza, located in downtown Beijing and expected to be a symbol of the city in the 21st century, will occupy a total area of 42,000 sq. meters.

The developer of the plaza, the Tianyuan Group Company, wants the design to incorporate both traditional Chinese styles and modern features.

No bids will be accepted after April 30, according to the developer.
