As many as 35.4 percent of China's urban residents want to use their spare money for investments, according to a survey conducted by the China Economic Prosperity Monitoring Center. While 23.2 percent of those surveyed want to invest in traditional sectors such as industry and commerce, most of those surveyed said they will more likely invest in securities, insurance, and real estate, all of which came into being in China only two decades ago. The survey also showed that more Chinese are now willing to take risks for higher profits. |
