China, Colombia Reach Agreement on WTO

China and Colombia concluded agreement on China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) on March 7 after concluding bilateral talks.

The agreement was signed by Sun Zhenyu, vice minister of China's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and Colombian Vice Foreign Trade Minister Angela Maria Orozco. The accord would help expand bilateral trade and further promote the economic and trade relations between the two countries, said Colombian Foreign Trade Minister Maria Lucia Ramirez de Rincon after the signing ceremony.
