China's Second MD-90 Plane Wins FAA Credit

China's second MD-90 plane on March 6 has got the Airworthy Certificate of Single Plane from the Federation of American Aviation (FAA) after completing all its trial flight items in Shanghai.

MD-90 plane is a passenger aircraft of cooperation by China with the US. With over 70% of constructing parts by China on its own, the plane has been built at an advanced international level of the 90s. Compared with MD-82 by China in the past, the MD-90 plane has been made by the country all on its own according to blueprints and raw material supply from the US. With successful test-flights made on last October 3, China has by its first MD-90 got Airworthy Certificate of Single Plane from the FAA in the same year.

Successful trial flights by the two China make planes within half a year shows that China has by its aviation aircraft manufacturing technology and management been placed at the 90s international level and a shortening of the distance between China and the world advanced in related manufacturing technology and management.
