Internet Security System Developed by University

The Xi'an Jiaotong University has developed an Internet security system that can shield networks from hacker attacks. According to a university spokesman, the system has passed examination by the Ministry of Public Security.

The system, called "network patrol police," can protect all networks based on the TCP/IP protocols by timely terminating the connections of any illegal or unauthorized visitors to the networks.

Experts say the system will help reduce the risks to network security for financial institutions and security trading departments.
